GMA Network will air the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley primer on Sunday for the much awaited match between the Filipino boxing icon and his American challenger.
The made-for-TV special airs at 9 a.m. as a prelude to the 12-round title bout where Pacquiao will defend his World Boxing Organiation (WBO) championship belt against the California-based Mosley.
The Paquia-Mosley match will be staged live on May 7 (May 8 in Manila) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
“Ang Bagong Laban: The Pacquiao-Mosley Primer," will be hosted by GMA Sports Saksi Chino Trinidad as he presents an in-depth look at the intense preparation made by both fighters.
Trinidad, in the GMA News and Public Affairs TV special, will take viewers to an insider look on Pacquiao’s eight-week long journey to get into fighting shape.
Four-time trainer of the year Freddie Roach says that Pacquiao “has never looked better in training."
This will be the Pacquiao’s second time to defend the 147-pound strap that he won against Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto in 2009.
Will Mosley survive the speedy and power-punching Pacquiao? Who among the two fighters are heavily favored by fans and boxing experts? Will Pacquiao continue to rewrite boxing history and add another milestone to the annals of Philippines sports?
Find out on Sunday as “Ang Bagong Laban: The Pacquiao-Mosley Primer" ties up all boxing updates with exclusive interviews and footages straight from Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
