GMA Records Ushers In Summer With Exciting New Line-Up

GMA Records proudly releases a refreshing mix of carrier singles, brand new albums, and DVD compilations of top-rating Kapuso programs just in time for the summer season.




With the continued success of her debut album “Inside My Heart”, talented young diva Frencheska Farr comes out with her second single “Isama Mo Ako”. A singer as fresh and promising as Frencheska deserves only the best and as such, GMA Records has chosen the luxurious and elegant Manila Hotel as venue for her music video particularly the very famous Champagne Room. As Frencheska sings to the lyrics of her next big hit, the music video showcases the captivating beauty of this romantic hotspot perfect for elegant parties or intimate gatherings.

Composed by Vehnee Saturno, “Isama Mo Ako” will be one of the theme songs for the highly anticipated sequel of 
Captain Barbell, of which Frencheska will be joining as well. Despite being new in the industry, her songs have already been identified with high-rating programs and blockbuster movies such as My Valentine Girls,Alakdana, and Temptation of Wife. Frencheska will also be Channel V’s “Take Off Artist of the Month” for April.

King of Soul 
Janno Gibbs releases his newest album “The Janno Gibbs Anthology” featuring 18 of his greatest hits spanning 20 years of his musical artistry. Truly a collector’s item, the album includes hits like “Ipagpatawad Mo”, “I Believe in Dreams”, “Almost Over You”, “Ikaw Lamang”, “Fallin”, “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo”, “If I’m Not In Love With You”, and many others. This compilation album also contains duets with queen of Soul Jaya, Jennylyn Mercado, and Jolina Magdangal, as well as a collaboration with Andrew E.

Jan Marini, the former Ang TV Star and now Kapuso artist, rekindles her love for singing as she releases her sophomore album “Once”. Her carrier single “White Walls” is her own composition, an original love song reminiscent of a painful heartbreak. “Once” contains 11 tracks, both originals and revivals, including “The Hardest Thing”, “Just When I Needed You Most”, “Will You Still Love Me?”, and “The Same Love”.

Meanwhile, GMA Records has also released the DVD collection of the groundbreaking telefantasya

Also already out in the market is “Mga Awit Kapuso (Sarap Maging Kapuso)”. This latest compilation of GMA TV theme songs contains 14 tracks including GMA's 60th anniversary theme "Kay Sarap Maging Kapuso" performed by Frencheska Farr, 
Geoff Taylor and Jay Perillo. Also included in this CD compilation is the theme song of Captain Barbell entitled "Sandata", sung by Shamrock, as well as "Panata 3 Serbisyong Totoo", the theme of GMA News & Public Affairs. The themes of Langit sa Piling MoKoreanaIlumina and many others are also included in this CD.
